Our client requires a Senior CAD Designer to work in their Stavanger, Norway offices.
Candidates must:
Have 4 - 6 years experience in design / engineering of steel structure / mechanical, Have technical education. Have co-operation capability, Be proactive Have experience in the use of Autocad 2D CAD software Have experience in the use of Inventor 3D CAD software
Role is to start as soon as possible and last 2 months with posible extension.
Job duties will include the following:
Report to Department Lead and Project Group Leader - CAD. Cooperate with the other personnel in the Project CAD Group and other disciplines in the Project. Plan own work in the Project. Familiarize company and clients standards/procedures. With a minimum of direction/information be able to do design engineering and prepare construction drawing according to existing rules and regulations. Produce engineering storyboards/sketches as required. Conduct self check on drawing/sketches.
